Sophia la Rumbera

Today Sophia turns a month old. I can't believe it! It seems like I had her yesterday. She has been a pretty good baby. She is extremely ticklish and loves it when we give her kisses on her neck. Sophia is totally a daddy's little girl, she still can't talk but she has Jeff already wrapped around her finger. It's so cute to watch Jeff melt around her.
Anyways, these are pictures that we have taken along this month.
In these pictures I was trying to take pictures of her funny toes. They are exactly like Jeff's, specially her big toe.
She also is very, very hairy as you can see she has Wolverine ears.

My momma and I

I am so that my mom was able to come and help me out with Nathan. Not only did she help me out with Nathan and Sophia, but she always made me laugh it was great to have her around. I don't think she knows how special she made me feel. I am so grateful to have such a wonderful and marvelous mom. I miss you sooooooooooooooooooo much already.

Priceless!

Nathan loves his Abuela soooo much, they are truly best friends. He was so happy to have her around.

Baby Sophia

Finally my little baby girl has arrived. Last Tuesday I had my doctors appointment and told me that everything was good to go. He checked me and told me I was already a 5. I was very excited to hear that. Then he scheduled me to be induced on Monday at 11am. I was really nervous because when I had Nathan my epidural had not worked. It only worked for twenty minutes and then dissapeared so I was not looking forward to having those crazy contractions.
We headed to the hospital Monday morning and I had the most wonderful nurse named Saddie (and now that I think of it I should have taken a picture with her) she was wonderful. She was so nice and very helpful, I felt extremely comfortable with her. After starting the Pitosin, Dr. Meredith came in and broke my water around 1:30pm. They put my epidural in around 2, I was really scared it wouldn't work, since it didn't work with Nathan and I was in extreme pain. Anyways, Sophia pop out into this world at 3:50pm. She weighed 8 lbs, 1 oz and was 19.5 inches long. On a sad note she broke her collar bone but the doctor assures me it will heal in about a week or so.

Mexico ra ra ra ra ra!!!

This post is mainly for my dad. I will post pictures of Nathan with his uniform and the story to it next week. Don't forget to check out our blog I just updated a whole bunch of stuff today.

More fun stuff!!

Ok so here are more of the things that we did through out this time. They are not in order because as usual the pictures move around when you download them and I don't want to spend the time to fix them right now.
Don't forget to keep scrolling down because there is another update just below this one.

On December 5th I celebrated my birthday. My momma baked my cake with the help of Nathan.

See how hard he is working.

In those days Jeff and I hardly saw each other so when I came back from Student Teaching I saw my beautiful roses and my birthday card that was so funny.

On November 29th my brother celebrated his birthday.

On December 5th was my last day of Student Teaching. I miss those kids so much. They were so much fun and great to be with. They were so nice to me and were always asking about my baby. It was a bitter sweet feeling when I had to leave.

As you can figure out this was Halloween. Miss Young (on my right) was my cooperating teacher. She is soooooo awesome I love her. She is an amazing teacher and also a wonderful friend. She taught me so many things and I am grateful that I had her.

Also, on October Jeff and I were able to go to Boise. My cousin Leslie married yes a White Boy! (haha) His name is Bobby and is a lot of fun. Jeff is happy to have another white boy in the family as well as a hunting partner.

Trip to Mexico

Ok so I know I haven't blog in like forever. So, I'm going to start out with my quick trip to Mexico, and my cousins awesome wedding. As most of you know I went down to Mexico to leave Nathan with my mom for him to stay there for about a month and a half. Some of you might say that's a long time. It was but Jeff and I were ok with it. He was sooo happy every time we called him he would always tell us his incredible stories and how he loved going to school and wear his school uniform. He never cried on the phone for me or anything I was the one that was sometimes teary eye because he didn't want to talk to me sometimes. (I guess I was too boring for him at the time.) Anyways here are some fun pictures of me and my cousins.

Cousins, Bride and Groom (cousin), aunts and uncles

Crazy uncle Mario

My handsome cousin Carlos.

Since my cousin got married in downtown Mexico City, we all left our cars at the hotel where the party was going to be held and then rode on these really cool trolleys.

This is the last day I was going to take him to school. Isn't he adorable?

Taking his backpack

This was an awesome experience. We were sitting behind first class and Nathan kept looking over to see the pilots cabin. Then all of a sudden the flight attendant comes over and asks if he would like to go and take a picture inside the cabin. I'm like of course he would. So, I get up there and take a picture of him first but he's not that happy as you can see in the picture below. Then the pilot is like here let me move and both of you sit and I'll take the picture. It was so cool. I think I was more excited than Nathan.

Merry Christmas????

Well today is like any other day to me. I am home alone with Nathan while Jeff is working. My family is down in Provo having our traditional Christmas dinner. (Very depressing) Tomorrow we are headed to Provo, to have leftovers, but it just won't feel the same. Anyways I hope everyone else is having a good Christmas Eve. I will be posting soon about graduation and the end of student teaching.
